The 21st Boryeong Mud Festival Has Invited Members Of Foreign Press To The Special Sponsored Program
The invitation to the 2018 Boryeong Mud Festival is extended to the representatives of the leading global and Korean news outlets. Fifteen journalists from foreign media will have the opportunity to cover the first weekend of the festival, July 14th and 15th, and will personally get to enjoy the biggest festival in Korea.

Boryeong Mud Festival is the most popular summer event in the country, yearly attracting several million visitors – out of which are over 600,000 international guests, making it a truly global experience. Ten days of mud games, mud baths, and beach parties, together with the biggest K-pop acts and some of the most spectacular traditional performances, have earned the festival its international fame. Three years in a row, Boryeong Mud Festival has been chosen as Korea’s Representative Festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

This invitation serves to provide an opportunity for journalists from all over the globe to experience Korean culture at the most epic of the country’s festivals – Boryeong Mud Festival. Over 200 foreign journalists from travel, music, and culture media outlets covered the festival last year. Round-trip transportation and overnight accommodation will be provided to all qualified mass media representatives who will cover the festival on the 14th (Sat) and 15th (Sun) of July. A more detailed program will be released later.

Unfortunately, we can offer the sponsored program to only 15 foreign press representatives. This offer will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, so please contact us with the details of your participation as soon as possible.
